I am a board certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. I pride myself in fostering a warm, empathic environment where people feel heard and attended to. I can provide medication management, psychotherapy, or both. I take the time to do a comprehensive evaluation to learn the multiple factors that have led my patients to seek treatment. We explore the events of the past and present—biological, psychological, and sociological—that may be contributing to any current difficulties.

I value working collaboratively with therapists, medical doctors, educators, parents, and other family members to ensure the best outcome for those in treatment. I am able to adapt to meet the needs of the person with whom I am working. I create individualized treatment plans to ensure we are working towards the same goal. I work with individuals, couples, and families.

I am a graduate of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. I completed an internship in pediatrics, followed by my adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. I completed my pre-medical coursework at Columbia University after studying international studies at Boston College. I grew up in Ridgewood and am happy to be back in the area serving the community in which I was raised.
